Hey people!
Just got this toy in hand..so i though i would do a small unboxing for ya all

Presenting the Maximus VI Formula from Asus. The ROG board which is mainly for gamers.
Am not a gamer per se, but I had an immense amount of fun with last formula Board. So i am eager to see what i can do with this board.

So without further do let’s get on with it..shall we?

Standard ROG box. All red with a flap and with all the information on both sides and the inside flap.

And here we have the board in all its glory.

that takes care of things outside the box, lets see whats inside.

Asus have provided everything except the kitchen sink and a pot in the box. (I would have appreciated a pot!).

Now to the board itself..

The first thing that catches the eye the ROG armor and the CrossChill hybrid cooling system. We will cover both of them in the review, so hold on!

The I/O panel is always filled to the brim with the standard fare stuff. The reset button deserves special mention since it saves a lot of headache for closed cased and open case clocker’s alike.

The supreme FX chip is upgraded with some new shiny stuff like Cirrus Logic CS4398 DAC.We will see how good it is.

Hey Everyone , Got these Asus 7970’s a couple of days ago.

Now i can finally hit up some BF3 @ 2560×1600 with Ultra graphics settings and AA + AF maxed out !I was running out of vram quite badly at this resolution and these babies should go a longgg way to help sort that out finally. Asus has bundled its GPU tweak and that has unlocked voltage control to 1.3v for some nice overclocking fun too.. cant wait to push these monsters!

Introduction

Hey Everyone , Today is a proud day for us, for today we have with us here the first AIO water coolers from India! Here are the pictures of the unboxing of the SVG Tech HOC 40 and HOC 20 AIO Water Cooling Kits.

Testing and Review will follow in a week or so once i get some breathing time and get down to testing these babies.

Initial impressions are very positive, What i like so far is as follows.

1. Quality Full Copper Radiator. Optimised for low and medium speed fans .. im counting approximately 8-9 FPI.
2. CNG Connect..very nice to see the ability to add more blocks.The connector itself feels fairly secure and should be leak proof. Just dont go around yanking on it or unplugging it when the pump is running.
3. Pump seems to be of high quality and very similar to the Corsair units ( Very good )
4. The Tubes are pretty long and of good quality.
5. The Paint finish seems to be pretty durable and of good quality too.

What i do have some reservations about are the following , and im sure we will get the answers to these questions too.

1. The Durability of the CNC connect but that can only be determined over time.
2. Pump longevity , But again it looks a lot like the new Corsair pumps and if it is anything like them then we should we perfectly ok
3. Pump Power, Will it have enough grunt to push through say a high restriction GPU block ? ( again can only be found out in testing multiple blocks )
