Hey guys!
Hows it going? Finally got my hands on the HD 7970 Gigahertz Edition and i thought i should do a review for you. Now the sample i have today is the Matrix Platinum Version of HD 7970 from Asus which is a beast in its own right.

This card is clocked higher than any other 7970 Gigahertz Edition in the market and as such it competes directly with the 7970 Lighting as to the specs. Clocking in at 1100 MHz Core and 1650 MHz memory speed this THE fastest 7970 as of now.

Lets take a look what Asus have in their 7970 offerings and then we shall check out more about this card.

This week we've reviewed ASUS 660Ti Direct CU II TOP Graphics card...the new card on the block.

Introduction
So i was thinking about doing a review on my HD7850 but i guess the hardware gods have something else in their mind. So,one fine day i find a nice big parcel in my doorstep. Presenting the GTX 660Ti :the new card based on GK104 chip from Nvidia.

Now, before i dive into benchmarks and stuff let’s have a look at the thing we have in hand. The card we would be reviewing is the Direct CU II TOP version from Asus; currently the most aggressively binned card in the market.

Let’s have a look at the specs to start things off:

Memory Clock

6008 MHz (1502 MHz GDDR5)

Memory Interface

192-bit

Resolution

DVI Max Resolution : 2560×1600

Interface

DVI Output : Yes x 1 (DVI-I), Yes x 1 (DVI-D)
HDMI Output : Yes x 1
Display Port : Yes x 1 (Regular DP)

Dimensions

10.7 ” x 5.4 ” x 1.7 ” Inch

The main Difference between the reference 660TI and this card is that this card is clocked around 150Mhz higher than the reference version with a better cooler.

Asus just pulled one more ace from their sleeves and proved why they are No1! Today we take a look at ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe in detail.

Introduction : P8Z77 V Deluxe

The foremost thing that comes into mind when building a rig is the motherboard as that is the most important component of a smoothly running computer system. So basically Motherboard manufacture’s always fight out to bring the best in the market. Today we will review one top of the line motherboard from one of the dominating players in the components market : ASUS.

The motherboard we will be reviewing is P8Z77 V Deluxe. The topmost model on the Z77 mainstream lineup.

A few words on the Z77 Chipset :
The Z77 chipset is supposed to be the replacement of the Z68 chipset from Intel along with the 3rd generation ivy bridge processors. As such they are supposed to be better than the erstwhile Z68 platform;now whether they are better is a question of debate. Only difference I can see feature wise is the inclusion of USB3.0 and iRst 11.0 as well as the surprise removal of the PCI Slots in the Z77 platform.

Here’s a block diagram of Z77 for the technically inquisitive.

Asus Z77 lineup
Asus currently has 9 motherboard in its Z77 lineup ranging from the low end to the high end of the price spectrum. The top of the line being P8Z77 V Deluxe which we are reviewing today.
